Translation of Sim Shalom (Praying for Peace)

Grant universal peace, with goodness and blessing, grace, love, and mercy, for us and for all the people Israel (and the world). Bless us, our Creator, together in Your light. By the light of your countenance, you have given us the way toward a life of caring, generosity, blessing, wellbeing and peace. May it be good in Your eyes to bless Your people Israel at all times with Your peace.

Featured Tracks

Yehi Shalom (Let There Be Peace)

Let peace be known among Your people, reign within Your walls, in quiet harmony

Hebrew Lyrics: Psalm 122:7, interpretive translation: Danielle Upbin and Fred Johnson

HASHKIVENU (LAY ME DOWN)

Help us to lie down in peace and awaken us again, our Sovereign to life. Spread over us Your shelter of peace. Guide us with Your good counsel. Save us because of Your mercy… guard our coming and our going, grant us life and peace now and always. Spread over us the shelter of your peace.

AMAR RABBI ELAZAR (RABBI ELAZAR TAUGHT)

Rabbi Elazar taught in the name of Rabbi Hanina: Peace is increased by disciples of sages: as it was said: When all of your children are taught of Adonai, great will be the peace of your children (Isaiah 54:13). May Adonai grant His people strength; may Adonai bless His people with peace (Psalms 29:11).

Translation of "Open my Heart (Petach Libi)"

My God, keep my tongue from evil , my lips from lies. Help me ignore those who would slander me. Let me be humble before all. Open my heart to Your Torah, that I may pursue Your commandments….May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to You, my Rock and my Redeemer.
